Looking toward the future: This renovated house at 1848 Western Avenue, foreground, and the one next to it, at 1846 Western Avenue, are up for sale after being restored. The house at 1846 Western Avenue was the site of the unsolved murder of the Chen family — Jin Feng, 39; Hai Yan Li; 38, Eddy, 7; and Anthony, 12 — in October 2014. As of last month, according to the New York State Police Public Information Officer Mark Ciepel, the case remains open and unsolved.
