The weather caused fewer people to attend this year’s Altamont Fair, organizers say, but they are working already to make next year’s fair bigger and better.
On the opening day of the Altamont Fair, 27 young women, ages 5-40, compete in the Miss Altamont Fair pageant for the fair week and other community events through out the year.
