On Friday, Feb. 6, the Guilderland and Bethlehem boys’ bowling squad took to the lanes at Boulevard Bowl in Schenectady as they competed against the other Section 2, Class A schools for a right to head to states.
On Saturday, Jan. 31, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo and Voorheesville indoor track teams battled in the Section 2, Division 4 championships in hopes to take one step closer to making the state competition at Hudson Valley Community College.
On Friday, Jan. 30, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo girls’ basketball squad traveled to Scotia to take on Mekeel Christian Academy. From the opening tip, the Bulldogs took control of the game and walked away with a 67-35 victory.
On Tuesday, Jan. 27, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo boys’ basketball team hosted a non-league matchup against Troy at home. In a matchup that was physical from the opening tip to overtime, the Bulldogs battled hard and scratched out a 69-68 win.
On Friday, Jan. 23, the Voorheesville Blackbirds boys’ basketball team traveled to Mohonasen High School to face off against the Warriors. The Birds started off well in the first half but the Warriors battled back to win, 59-53.
