Starting off on the right foot: Berne-Knox-Westerlo boys’ basketball team played Friday evening at home at full strength for the first time all season — football injuries had earlier sidelined several players. The Bulldogs beat Fort Plain High School decisively — 76 to 52.

The Bulldogs led from the start last Friday night against Western Athletic Conference foe Schoharie at home, beating the Indians, 66 to 22. This was BKW’s 13th victory in a row, having lost just their first game this season.

Hitting the mat, the team combined of Voorheesville Blackbirds and the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs, which The Enterprise calls Bird Dogs sparred last Thursday against Duanesburg at Duanesburg High School. Duanesburg cruised to a 57 to 17 win.
