On Friday, Dec. 6, the Guilderland girls’ basketball team opened up its season at home as it played in a non-league game against Stillwater. The Warriors' length bothered the Dutch as the Dutch fell, 60 to 36.

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, the Guilderland/Voorheesville/Schalmont/Scotia-Glenville/Mohonasen Storm hockey team opened up their season as they took on Niskayuna/Albany/Broadalbin-Perth/Schoharie Hawks at Messa Rink on the campus of Union College. The Storm started well but fell 4-to-0.

Last Tuesday, Nov. 26, the Guilderland bowling team traveled to East Greenbush Bowling Center to face off against the Blue Devils of Columbia. Guilderland started out fast and never looked back in their 19-13 win (3667-3561 in total pins).

Last weekend, Nov. 16 & 17, the Guilderland field hockey squad competed in their first-ever New York State final four held at Arlington High School in field hockey.

Last Wednesday, Nov. 13, eight Guilderland athletes, seven pictured, signed their college national letter of intent to play collegiate sports next year.
