To the Editor:

We wish to express our sincere thanks to the many friends and volunteers who helped make the performance of “Hieronymus,” the musical, at Proctors in Schenectady a success last Thursday evening.

Many friends sweated and toiled in the 90-degree heat and humidity in our garage, building marvelous sets for the Proctors stage. Several volunteers, under the tutelage and hard work of Beth Ruman, helped create intriguing and colorful medieval costumes. Scores of local high school art students, together with the creative skills of mask designer Ira Martin, and his team of make-up artists made the mystique of the creatures in the show come alive.

Vocal director, Charlotte Palmeri; choreographers Denise Baker and Kyle Hatfield; production adviser Robert Whiteman; grant writer/executive assistant Pamela Pearlman; producers Robert Farquharson, Tom Della Sala, and Nell Burrows from Schenectady Light Opera Company; assistant Producer Amy Jessup; and, of course, our extremely talented cast of actors, crew members, sound, stage, and lighting people brought the tale of Hieronymous Bosch alive in a delightful way.

Also, thanks to Melissa Hale-Spencer who wrote such a lovely article a couple of weeks ago.

Thank you to all those who came to see the show. We hope you enjoyed it and were inspired.
