To the Editor:

The Guilderland Central School District is in the process of developing the budget for the 2026-27 school year and is seeking community input. Gathering perspectives from a range of stakeholder groups is a key part of the budget-development process and helps inform the district’s initial budget proposal.

The district has launched a short budget survey to provide the Guilderland school community with an opportunity to share input and priorities for the 2026-27 school budget. The link can be found on the district website. Here is a link: bit.ly/4q7ZJKm.

The anonymous survey is open to all members of the Guilderland school community and will remain open until 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9.

Community members are encouraged to participate by sharing their perspectives through the survey, which will be reviewed as the district prepares a first draft of next year’s budget. Survey results will be shared on the district website and at an upcoming board of education meeting.
