Susan E. Brooks

Susan E. Brooks, longtime resident of Princetown, died peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025, in Hudson Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was 77.

Born on Oct. 11, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Joyce Vanderpool Tiffany. She was the beloved wife of Ronald D. Brooks, with whom she shared 26 years of marriage.

“A loving and kind woman, Sue will be missed by her many neighbors and friends,” her family wrote in a tribute. “Ronald and Susan could often be found splitting firewood at their home in Princetown. Susan was employed by Heritage Arms in Scotia where she was an executive secretary.”

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. 

“The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thank-you to the Our Lady of Mercy Nursing Center in Guilderland for their loving and compassionate care for Susan in her final months,” the tribute said.
