ALTAMONT — Dennis Javoroski, of Altamont, a Navy veteran and a father, died on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013. He was 45.

He was born in Milwaukee, Wisc., the son of Gerald and Nellie Javoroski.  He was married to Janeen Javoroski on Aug. 21, 2001.

Mr. Javoroski served in the United States Navy and was awarded the following medals:  National Defense Service, Navy Good Conduct, and Humanitarian Service medal.  He was a proud member of the Disabled American Veterans Association.

He is survived by his two beautiful sons, Jack and Tyler; by his brothers, Mike Javoroski and his wife, Sue, and Ken Javoroski, and his wife, Kelly; and also by his in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held today, Aug.  15, at 6:30 p.m. at the Fredendall Funeral Home at 199 Main Street in Altamont.  Calling hours are from 5:30 to 6 p.m.  A funeral service will be held with full military honors at the Saratoga National Cemetery on Friday, Aug. 16, at 9:30 a.m. located at 200 Duell Road, in Schuylerville, N.Y. All are welcome to both.

Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund set up for his two sons — The Dennis Javoroski Memorial Fund at Trustco Bank — or to the Disabled American Veterans, Post Office Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
