Let’s have some fun on April 26

Wally Jones, on piano, and Michelle Cenci, on violin and viola, will be among the performers at an April 26 concert to raise funds for hurricane victims.

To the Editor:

I’m producing a big country concert to benefit the victims of hurricanes Helene and Milton. The concert will be held on April 26 at 2 p.m. at the Westerlo Reformed Church. Contributions will go to Samaritan’s Purse.

I grew up in Gallupville years ago and people say I make the piano talk. I will be working with many gifted artists who will play a variety of beautiful music and toe-tappers.

A country band, The Rustic Chill, will touch your hearts. Robin Van Arsdale has an amazing voice for gospel singing.

Michelle Cenci will play her violin and viola, bringing one to heaven with her surreal music. She also does acrobatics on the violin that leaves one breathless.

“I am a mom, wife, daughter, friend, and violin player,” Michelle wrote. “I enjoy playing music with Wally Jones, especially when our God-given gifts are used to bring joy and light to others.

“I am so thankful to Wally for having such a big, loving heart and to the wonderful communities we perform for. Thank you all for your support and let’s have some fun on April 26.”

Those are her words.
