GPD investigates pedestrian death

GUILDERLAND — A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on Thursday evening near Western Avenue and Lawton Terrace.

Timothy D. Gapp was pronounced dead at Albany Medical Center after the accident, according to a release from the Guilderland Police.

The driver of the vehicle that hit Gapp has been “fully cooperative with law enforcement during the investigation,” which is still underway, police said.

Anyone who witnessed the accident or who has additional information is asked to call the Guilderland Police Department at 518-356-1501.
