KNOX  — Blanche L. Tubbs, who worked hard to take care of her family, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024. She was 95.

She was born on April 28, 1929, the daughter of the late Elmer and Goldie Taber Finch. For 50 years, she was the beloved wife of the late Leonard Tubbs.

“A longtime resident of the Hilltowns, Blanche spent most of her life in Knox following her early years in the Bozenkill - Altamont area,” her family wrote in a tribute. “Working hard to take care of her family, Blanche took pride in her little business of cleaning houses and earned a reputation for her spotless completed jobs.

“An avid bird watcher, Blanche took great appreciation for the cardinals that visited.”

Blanche  L. Tubbs is survived by her daughter, Debra (Martin Sr.) Dibble, and by her grandchildren Lisa (Mike) Agate, Sherry (Dave) Bathrick, and Marin Jr. (Michelle) Dibble.

She is also survived by her great-granddaughters, Katerina (Ryan) Coons and Danni Valentin (Duncan); by her great-grandsons, Dylan Dibble and Cameron Quinn; and by her great-great-grandsons, Cooper and Sonny McGregor.

Her husband, Leonard Tubbs, died before her, as did her brother, Duane Finch.

Interment will be in the spring in Knox Cemetery in Knox.
