WESTERLO — Nancy Wright, who lived in Westerlo for most of her life, died suddenly on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. She was 64.

The daughter of Julia and Kenneth Peck Sr., she was born on Nov. 3, 1959.

“Nancy was very loved by all members of her family,” her family wrote in a tribute. “Nancy loved all animals, especially her cat. She loved hunting, fishing, and going to auctions.

“Nancy really loved spending time with her family and cherished being in their company. She will be sincerely missed by all friends, family, and the Onesquethaw fire company.”

Nancy Wright is survived by her youngest son, Shannon Peck and his wife, Sarah Peck, and by her grandsons, Brandon and Christopher Peck.

She is also survived by one brother, Ronald Peck and his wife, Natasha Peck; by three sisters, Patricia Lee, and her husband, Brian Lee, Brenda Vest and her husband, Willam Vest, and Star Raby and her husband, John Raby; and by 23 nieces and nephews.

“Nancy was also loved by her extended family in the Delmar Center,” the tribute said.

Her husband, Fredrick Wright, died before her, as did her son, Scotty Knickerbocker; her brothers, Robert Peck and Kenneth Peck Jr.; and her mother and father, Julia and Kenneth Peck Sr.                                                                                                                                                                                 

Services will be held at Meyers Funeral Home at 741 Delaware Ave. in Delmar from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 13.
