GREENVILLE — Lois M. Klob, her family wrote in a tribute, “left this world on Friday, Sept. 29, 2023 at 2:02 p.m. at home surrounded by her family.” She was 90.

She was born at home in Westerlo on Oct. 14, 1932 to the late Ward and Anna (née Vincent) Waldron.

“Lois began her lifelong role as wife and mother on June 28, 1952 when she married her husband of 71 years, Fred Klob,” her family wrote. “Together they raised three children and joyfully welcomed five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

“Lois loved family activities, camping, raising race horses, playing bingo, cards, jigsaw puzzles, dirt-track racing, dining out, and NASCAR.”

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Monte (Linda), Brenda (Jim), and Kevin; her grandchildren, Rebecca (Jason), Corey, Adam (Donna Mae), David, Krystal (Dave), and Caldwell; her great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

All of her siblings — Ward “Bud” (Clara) Waldron, Ruth (Gordon) Shaver, Marilyn “Tootie” (Bernard “Snapper”) White, and Dale (Shirley) Waldron — died before her, as did several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, Oct. 3, from 4 to 7 p.m. at A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home at 4898 State Route 81 in Greenville. The funeral will be Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial in Greenville Cemetery.
