ALTAMONT — Beverly A. Bushnell, who above all else enjoyed her family, died suddenly on Monday, April 24, 2023. She was 61.

She was born on March 22, 1962, and grew up in Westerlo. She was married on June 20, 1981, and was a stay-at-home mother to her children for many years.

“When her children were older, Beverly was employed at Spaulding & Rogers Manufacturing Inc.,” her family wrote in a tribute. “She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, frequent trips to Massachusetts to visit her sister, cleaning, and above all she enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren.”

She is survived by her children, Heather (Rich), Sabrina (William), Melanie (Rudy), John (Katie), and Jessica (Travis); by her grandchildren, Courtney, McKenzie, Gavin, Brandon, Aaliyah, Danica, Trevor, Tyran, Ricky, Riley, and Alicia; and by her great-grandchild, Amoura.

She is also survived by sister, Tina (Tom), and, brother, Ed.

Her husband, John H. Bushnell Sr, died before her, as did her parents, Kenneth and Ada; her grandchildren Brittney and Marissa; her brothers, John and Butch; and her sister Linda.

At this time, the family has planned a private celebration of life

“In lieu of flowers,” her family wrote, “please send cards to the family or plant a flower or tree in her name, as Beverly adored her flower beds.”
