Remember Joel, and donate for pets

To the Editor:

The Altamont Reformed Church announces its third annual Joel Edwards DVM Memorial Pet Food Drive, running from March 10 to 13,  in memory of Joel and his dedication to animals as an honored veterinarian.

Donations may be brought to the church anytime during those four days.

Food gladly accepted includes: dry dog food (20-pound bag limit), and either dry or wet cat food.

There will be a bin outside in the back parking lot entrance to the church to collect donations. The church is located at 129 Lincoln Ave. in Altamont.

These generous offerings will go to our local animal shelters and food pantries. As always, we appreciate the support of such a caring community.
