VCSF offers grants to STEAM dreamers

To the Editor:
The Voorheesville Community and School Foundation is excited to announce that we are moving full STEAM ahead with a new grant-funding initiative. Between now and March 15, VCSF is seeking grant applications for projects and programs focused on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) activities within the boundaries of the Voorheesville Central School District.

The foundation will consider requests of up to $2,500 for new equipment, new programs or existing program enhancements, curriculum supplements, school or community activities, or a new club or new club initiative.

Applications from students, supported by the school district or other entities (library, municipalities) are highly encouraged. STEAM dreamers can get more details on our website at vcsfoundation.com/fullsteamahead.

To turn even more STEAM dreams into reality, VCSF is seeking support from local businesses and community members. Donations of $100 or more will receive special recognition on our website and social media as STEAM Conductors.

Donors of $250 or more will also be named in our award letters as STEAM Sponsors. All donors will be recognized on our website. Donations may be made via PayPal through our website or mailed to Post Office Box 523, Voorheesville, NY, 12186, by March 15, 2023.

VCSF is a 501(c)(3) organization established by local community members in 1999 to enhance educational, cultural, athletic, and organizational opportunities for students and community members residing primarily in the Voorheesville Central School District. The foundation relies on the generous support and donations from the community to carry out its mission.
