No students injured in school bus accident

GUILDERLAND — No students were injured on Friday morning when a school bus, Route 11, on a run to Farnsworth Middle School was in an accident.

The accident was caused when a car crossed into the lane the bus was driving in, according to an email sent at 9:20 a.m. to Guilderland Central School District families; the same notice is posted on the district’s website.

Carman Road was briefly closed to traffic. A back-up bus took the students to school.

Guilderland Police and emergency teams responded along with the district’s transportation department and the Farnsworth principal, Michael Laster.
