Hilltowns Senior News for Tuesday, January 17, 2023
Happy New Year to all from the Hilltown Seniors! The year 2023 has arrived and we are all excited about what is being planned for the upcoming year.
We will be planning for a new line of officers and lining up trips, trips, and more trips. As always, if we have openings on any of these excursions, we will open them up to the public.
Our new trip leader, Mary Jane Araldi, is busy lining up some pretty fantastic trips so stay tuned.
We celebrated birthdays and anniversaries for the months of November, December, and January — and I have to say that we should have a senior choir as we sounded soooo good!
Then the book club reported that members had their lunchtime book discussion at Junior’s and what a delicious lunch was served. Next month, we will meet at the Grapevine in Cobleskill on Feb. 9, weather permitting.
I had four of our members play a game where a group of two competed against the other two — all facing in the same direction with one throwing cotton balls and one catching them in their New Year’s hats. So fun!
We have more members that have joined our group. We are blessed.
So, my friends, until next month, remember: If you lose a sock in the dryer, it comes back as a Tupperware lid that doesn’t fit any of your containers!
