Uncommon Grounds opens in Stuyvesant Plaza

Uncommon Grounds now has four cafés.

GUILDERLAND — Uncommon Grounds has opened its fourth café, at Stuyvesant Plaza in the space formerly leased by Bruegger’s Bagels.

In addition to fresh-roasted coffee, the coffeehouse will offer homemade bagels, soups, salads, and desserts.

About 20 full- and part-time employees will staff the shop, according to a release from Stuyvesant Plaza. Uncommon Grounds is actively hiring bakers, prep workers, and baristas.

Uncommon Grounds opened in 1992 in downtown Saratoga Springs. In addition to the shop at 402 Broadway in Saratoga Springs, Uncommon Grounds also has cafés at 1235 Western Avenue in Albany and 9 Clifton Country Road in Clifton Park.
