Memorial Service: Linda J. Tanner

Mrs. Linda J. Tanner of Cobleskill, widow of Robert Tanner, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022. She was 74.

She was born June 27, 1947 in Middleburgh, a daughter of the late Norman Laraway and Pauline (née Coons) Laraway Shilstone.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Tanner II, Brian Tanner and his wife, Rachel, and Scott Tanner; 14 grandchildren; her sister, Darlene McGinn and her husband, Roy; her brother, David Laraway and his wife, Darleen; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her loving husband, Robert Tanner, her son, Peter Tanner, died before her, as did her granddaughter, Bryanna Tanner.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Saturday, April 9, at 11 a.m. at the South Westerlo Congregational Christian Church, 282 County Route 405, South Westerlo, followed by refreshments at the Rensselaerville firehouse.
