The New York Capital District Christian Women’s Connection is sponsoring “The Wonder of Life” luncheon on Wednesday, Aug. 11, at the Guilderland Elks Lodge at 3867 Rtoute 146 (Carman Road) beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at approximately 1:30 p.m. COVID-19 recommendations from the state and from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will be followed.

Your reservation is necessary no later than Aug. 6 and you must notify us of a cancelation. Please call Nancy at 518-869-0642 or Carol at 518-869-5253 for reservations. On the menu this month is sausage/pepper/onion on a hoagie with pasta salad. The cost is $17 inclusive (cash only please).

Our special speaker and special music this month is Eileen Banks from Rome, New York who will speak on “The Wonder of Life” and entertain us with song.   Our special feature will be Katie Camaro who will talk about Sundae’s Best — a company, located in the hills overlooking Saratoga Springs, which specializes in hot fudge sauce and dips.
