Porter E. Bidleman Memorial Service

Porter E. Bidleman was a frequent walker at the Altamont fairgrounds.

ALTAMONT — A 3 p.m. memorial service will be held at the Reid Northrup Memorial Stage in the grove at the Altamont fairgrounds on Sunday, May 2, to celebrate and remember the life of Porter E. Bidleman.

He died on Nov. 24, 2020 at the age of 94.

Friends and family may gather prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. and following the service until 4:30 p.m.

Parking will be available at Gate 3 off Brandle Road as well as parking for people with handicaps.  You may wish to bring a lawn chair.

If the weather is inclement, the service will be held in a building.
