Photos: Dutch boys' soccer two comebacks result in a win and a loss

On Friday afternoon, Guilderland boy's soccer traveled to CBA in the regular season finale before the Suburban Council Championships. The Dutch rallied from 2-to-0 at half to win 3 to 2. Then on Tuesday, the Dutch visited Saratoga in the quarterfinals in the Suburban Council Championship where they fell 3 to 2 in overtime in coming back in that matchup 2-to-0 again.

Comeback win: Guilderland’s Bugra Karaca leaps to get his foot on a cross from a teammate to chip the ball over the outstretched hand of the Christian Brothers Academy goalie late in the second half of Friday night’s game at Afrim’s sports complex in Colonie. He netted the game winner for the Dutch, which had trailed 2-to-0 at the half. The Dutch won, 3 to 2. On Tuesday evening, the Dutch fell 3 to 2 to Saratoga in the Suburban Council quarterfinal championship.
