Thanks for helping kids stay warm

To the Editor:

The Kiwanis Club of the Helderbergs would like to thank the community for its generous donations to our annual Coats for Kids Drive.

This year, we collected more than we ever have — 35 children’s coats, 59 teen/adult coats, 81 hats, 15 scarves, 6 headbands, 8 sets of gloves, 1 pair of boots, and a monetary donation.

The Hilltown Community Resource Center will make sure these donations are distributed to families in need.
