To the Editor:

On May 11, at 1 p.m., we will host our 29th Loyalty Day Program.

This year, we are honoring our veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan along with members from the community, the Essay Project from Altamont Elementary School, and members of our post and auxiliary.

We would like to invite the community to attend along with any of the veterans in our communities who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, and other VFWs; come and be part of a very special day.

Veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, please call me, Darlene Stanton, at 518-470-7310 to let me know your coming so I can put you on our list of guests, or you can just come and let me know when you get there.

We look forward to seeing you on May 11 at 1 p.m.; please bring you family and friends.

Refreshments will be served following the program.
