Notice of Permissive Referendum

Knox Fire District

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Knox Fire District in the Town of Knox, Albany County, New York, at a meeting held on the 14th of August, 2018, duly adopted the following Resolution, subject to a permissive referendum.

RESOLUTION 32-2018

Be it resolved that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Knox Fire District, Town of Knox, Albany County, New York will expend a sum of money, not to exceed $45,000, from the Building Repair Reserve Account for the purpose of replacing the concrete slab in front of the fire station engine bay. The current concrete slab and adjacent blacktop area have been repaired on numerous occasions and are currently in such a state of deterioration that they cannot be repaired satisfactorily and require replacement.
