A class ACT. Help us beautify our parks

To the Editor:

On April 21, Altamont Community Tradition will sponsor its Annual Village Green and Clean. ACT members are asking village residents to join them in their efforts to beautify our parks and ready them for spring after a long winter.

Members and residents will meet at 9 a.m. in Orsini Park ready to rake, weed, and manicure its garden beds. Volunteers are asked to bring garden tools and wheelbarrows if available.

This is a great opportunity for Scouts, 4-H, and other organizations to offer community service. All are welcome — so grab a rake and meet us at the gazebo!
