Thank you Enterprise staff, for making a positive difference

To the Editor:

I read the small article on page 15 of The Altamont Enterprise of the issue dated April 12, 2018, which I believe, indicated that it was written with a great deal of humility.

Now it’s time to shout it from the rooftops!  Congratulations and well done to Melissa Hale-Spencer and also to your entire staff! My biggest overwhelming feeling was to write and publicly state how proud I am of all of you.

To be connected to you, basically only by words, and indirectly to the roots of your 134-year-old tree of “writing wisdom” is extremely rewarding for myself. What a magnificent phenomenon and legacy you and your entire staff have given to your readers.

You have persevered through your newspaper career and have set a prime example for your newspaper’s mission statement, “We seek the truth and print it.” I admire and applaud you and also your entire staff for your outstanding achievements.

In my opinion, all of us are extremely privileged to have all of you as a means of representation for our community. Once again, congratulations on your endeavors and thank you for making a positive difference in a world that definitely needs positive differences made to it.
