Florence M. Richardson has joined the Albany law firm O’Connell and Aronowitz as Of Counsel. She brings her extensive experience to the firm’s Family and Matrimonial Department.

Before joining O’Connell and Aronowitz, Richardson was principal at Kahn and Richardson, an Albany law firm dedicated exclusively to working on matrimonial matters for clients across the Capital District. Since being admitted to practice in 1984, she has focused solely on divorce, custody, prenuptial agreements, separation agreements, child support, spousal support, and equitable distribution.

She is a member of the New York State Matrimonial Practice Advisory and Rules Committee. She has been named to the Upstate New York Super Lawyers list since 2015, a distinction earned by less than 5 percent of attorneys in the state.

She is a member of the American and New York State Bar Associations (Family Law Sections); the Albany and Schenectady County Bar Associations; the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, Capital District Chapter; and the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association.
