Kathy J. Andersen

GUILDERLAND CENTER — Kathy J. Andersen, whose family said she spent her life caring for others, died at her Guilderland Center home on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017. She was 63.

She was born on June 14, 1954 to the late William and Jane (née Komjathy) Herzog.

“Kathy was a gracious and loving mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend who spent her entire life caring for others and will be deeply missed,” her family wrote in a tribute.

She is survived by her son, Todd Andersen; her brothers, Timothy, Martin, Lawrence, and Stephen Herzog; her sister, Kim Herzog; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Helderberg Lutheran Church at 1732 Helderberg Trail in Berne at a later date.
