To the Editor:

At its Sept. 11 meeting, the Voorheesville School District Board of Education approved an extension of the deadlines for payment of school taxes as follows:

— Oct. 7 for payment without penalty; and

— Nov. 7 for payment with a 2-percent penalty.

Please note that:

— These deadlines have been changed from the deadlines printed on the tax bills; and

— Oct. 7 is a Saturday; however, payments mailed with a postmark of Oct.7 will be accepted without a penalty.
