She explained that the lunisolar calendar has 12 months and uses a repeating cycle of 60 years to name years, months, and days. Zodiac animals are used to name the years — and this is the year of the Fire Horse, which, Qin said, signifies speed, freedom, and action.
“It was actively snowing for part of the time, but the cold is always a problem,” said Molgard. “Pieces of equipment do freeze up. We were able to get water fairly quickly on the fire but the fire was just too advanced. There wasn’t any real way to save the house.”
The $1.7 billion facility is expected to be complete by 2030.
