What happened to patriotism

To the Editor:

I attended a very  moving Memorial Day ceremony Sunday in Orsini Park, honoring our veterans and our country. It was very disappointing to see only a handful of people in attendance.

What happened to patriotism, love of country, and respect and support for our vets?

I thought Altamont was better than that but you proved me wrong and I’m ashamed of you all unless you had good reason not to be there.

So much for the “All-American” village
