Marie is very careful with our dollars

To the Editor:

I am writing this letter to endorse Helen Marie Lounsbury to be elected for a seat on the Berne-Knox-Westerlo School Board at the election on May 16.

I have known Marie for more than 50 years and we always discuss the students, faculty, and buildings at BKW in our conversations. Marie has spent her whole adult life first as being an elementary teacher, a PTA member, a volunteer on many community boards and has attended many town board meetings.

She sent her three children to BKW and always was satisfied with their education. She is interested in everyone’s child and is always willing to volunteer, sharing her knowledge with parents.

She wants our faculty to get all the training they need to do the best they can to educate our students. Marie also wants our buildings to be safe and that is one of her utmost concerns.

Marie is also very careful how our dollars are spent and she will study all the plans to insure our money is spent wisely.

She worked at the school many years and knows the layout that will suit the needs of our students. She spent many years on the school board and is anxious to put more years into making BKW one of the best schools in Albany County.

Please vote for Helen Marie Lounsbury on May 16.
