In Memoriam: Robert Lawyer Sr.

For Robert Lawyer Sr.

April 9, 1927 - March 2, 2004

Hey Pop, There is a whole list of people who have loved you and miss you dearly in your accomplished life, including myself. I hope I speak well from the families of The Lawyers, The Tubbs, The Hempsteads, The Dibbles, The Youngs, The Kulaks, The Spauldings, and the Gaiges.

I know there are more people, friends, and family that you have touched with a hug, a kiss, or a handshake who miss you too. I’m sure you people know who you are.

The good times we had at the stock car races every week in the summer, hot dogs and cold beer. The bowling at Town and country, Knox fireman’s mixed league, the Monday night men’s league in Altamont and all the ---k’ens that went with it.

What a blast we all had with you. The parties at Lawyers Lake (The Pond) which we all helped create with you. Great times had by all. The fun we had and hard work we did side by side make many memories, but will never be forgotten, that we all still talk about until this day and many after.

Yes, we could have done it without you, but it sure wouldn’t have been the same without you. I hope we can all do it again some day with ya. Thew bear that went over the mountain to see what he could see, I hope is still singing. We love and miss you, Dad.

From you friends, Family, Grandchildren, Daughters and Son S.

Love and miss you, Jim

R.I. P. Father until we meet agian.
