This Election Day, vote for integrity

To the Editor:

We’ve lived in Knox for over four years now. So I believe I have a pretty good sense of how things are done. I’m a resident of Knox not because of some twist of fate. I consciously chose to move here. I love this area. I’ll be retired soon and intend to remain here till the end of my days.

I know very little of Dan Hanley, but I do know the circle of insiders who are pushing for his coronation. They pretend to be inclusive, but are in fact exclusive. They’ll tell you one thing to your face, but try to push through another behind your back. They’ll say they want progress, but put up roadblocks at every turn. I disdain and distrust anyone who conducts the people’s business in that manner, don’t you?

So I have one simple, straightforward message for the residents of Knox: This Election Day, vote for integrity. Send a message by writing in the name of someone who is an example of the best of this town, someone who has volunteered to serve and protect the town for over 30 years — Ken Saddlemire.

On Tuesday, Nov. 8, vote for Ken Saddlemire for town council — column 10 on the bottom row of your ballot, fill in the “write in” circle and then write in “Ken Saddlemire.”
