Emily E. Chase

EAST BERNE — Emily E. (née Haluska) Chase, a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013. She was 82.

Born on Feb. 18, 1931 in Berne, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Haluska.

She is survived by her six children, William Chase, Laura Chase, Karin Remmers, Stephen Chase and Rosemary Schunk; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Her husband, William Chase, died before her.
