BERNE — Once again, Berne-Knox-Westerlo students have found their place in the Invention Convention semifinals, as they have every year since the inception of the contest 13 years ago.

BERNE — After years of work at Berne-Knox-Westerlo, Interim Superintendent Kim LaBelle will be leaving the district to become superintendent of Galway Central Schools.

BERNE — Four candidates are vying for two open seats on the Berne-Knox-Westerlo School Board.

BERNE — Thomas Gagnon, 55, has lived in Berne for 14 years, and wants to combine his experience teaching and his creativity as a visual artist to work as a school board member towards a better district.

HILLTOWNS — The creative juices have begun to flow towards boosting the economy in the Hilltowns.

BERNE — Incumbent Helen Lounsbury has been on the Berne-Knox-Westerlo School Board for eight years, and is retired from a 35-year career as a teacher in the district.
