Guilderland

Wow! What a night! Last Tuesday, we attended an apron presentation at the Noah Masonic Lodge on Maple Avenue. As a mason Jim would have gone to the meeting anyway, but this was a very special meeting. This meeting was preceded by dinner and was open to family and friends of those who were receiving aprons.

GUILDERLAND — Scott LoBaido travels the country painting American flags in tribute to those who protect his freedom.

This week, he painted a three-dimensional mural on the brick wall of Town ‘N’ Country Lanes, on Western Avenue, to honor Major General Harold J. Greene, who was shot and killed in Afghanistan in August.

GUILDERLAND — Several years ago, Guilderhaven Inc. took under its wing (pun intended) Joyce Perry’s wildlife rehabilitation program. We like its educational aspect and the caring and compassionate work that it does.
