Teachers fight the darkness that descended after the murder of two elementary-school students with a scholarship, memorials.

GUILDERLAND — Neil H. Malcolm, a truck driver who liked tinkering with cars and loved dogs, died on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. He was 86.

“He was a great friend and a great neighbor,” said Francis McCarthy who, with his wife and children, lived next door to Mr. Malcolm for a quarter of a century on Kent Place in Westmere.

When arrested, they had a total of 144 counterfeit credit cards.
