In a hard-fought battle, the Guilderland boys’ soccer team lost to Christian Brothers Academy last Thursday at home, 3 to 1. The Dutch tied the game at the half but the Brothers’ defense kept Guilderland from scoring in the second half.

In the second half, Guilderland's Casey Tynan attempts to put the ball into the penalty box so a teammate can get a head on it. The ball was quickly kicked away. Tynan scored the lone goal for the Dutch in a penalty kick.
