The Guilderland-Voorheesville boys’ swimming team traveled to the Albany Academies in Albany last Thursday. The Guilderville swim team swam hard and fast but fell, 101 to 80. The team is now two and two on the season, and one swimmer has qualified for state competition in March.

Water pillow: Guilderville's Ben Brkanovic led from start to finish in the 100-yard backstroke. Brkanovic’s time was 54.78, which qualified him for state competition in this event.
