Looking for contributions: Rotary members, from left, Brian Barr, Al Easton, and Tod Wing ring in the season at Crossgates Mall on Wednesday, accepting donations in the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle. The annual Empire State Division Red Kettle Campaign helps 42 community and worship centers. Donors may also support the drive by texting the word “kettle” to 80888 on their phones to support the drive; a $10 donation will appear as a charge on the donor’s next mobile phone bill.
