Photos: Guilderville’s Sommo Finishes In The Top 25 In NYS

On the weekend of Nov. 19 and 20, Guilderville’s Brooke Sommo competed in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Girls’ swimming and diving championships at Ithaca College in Ithaca.

Going fast: Guilderville’s Brooke Sommo swats the water away during her preliminary heat race on Friday morning at Ithaca College. Sommo finished third in the heat with a time of 59.57 which was good for 25th fastest. Then on Saturday competed in the consolation “C” race and finished 25th in the state with a 29.60.
