Photos: Atlas Copco helps the needy this holiday season

Employees at Atlas Copco held a competition who could bring in the most non-perishable foods in efforts to donate to St. Matthews Church in Voorheesville.

Group effort: Employees of Atlas Copco gather on Tuesday at the company’s warehouse in Voorheesville, standing with 5,492 pieces of food that will be donated to the New Scotland Food Pantry located at Saint Matthew’s Church in Voorheesville. The winning group, which brought in the most food, was the Atlas Copco Research and Development team with roughly 60 pieces per person.

Santa’s sleigh in the form of a pickup truck: Three Atlas Copco workers load one of six pickups inside their warehouse on Tuesday morning to deliver donated food to the New Scotland Food Pantry at Saint Matthew’s Church. Some of the food will also go to the Hilltowns.
