Last Thursday the Guilderland-Voorheesville girls swim team had a virtual swim meet against Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake. The geese fell 99-to-84.

Whatcha looking at? Guilderville’s Brooke Sommo takes a breath while swimming the freestyle portion of the 200-meter individual medley. Sommo won with a time of 2:20.42 in Guilderville’s 99-to-84 loss to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake last Thursday. The match was held virtually with each team competing in its home pool; Guilderland and Voorheesville students make up the Guilderville team and swim in Voorheessville’s pool.
