This week, the Guilderland boys’ and girls’ volleyball teams took to the court for their quarterfinal matchups in the Class AA sectional tournament. The girls opened up on the road last Thursday evening at Columbia High School and battled hard through a very competitive five-set match loss: 25-14, 19-25, 25-19, 18-25, 23-25. The boys traveled to Colonie on Monday evening to face the Garnett Raiders in the Class AA sectional quarterfinal.
