Last Wednesday, Oct. 26, the 12-seeded Voorheesville girls’ volleyball team traveled to fifth-seeded Corinth for their first-round matchup in the Section 2, Class C sectionals. The Birds won three sets to none; 28-26, 25-18, 25-21. Then on Friday, lost to fourth-seeded Tamarac in the quarterfinals.
