Golf kicks off the return of HS sports

School sports competitions returned at last this week — with golf. Guilderland is in the Suburban Council, which is playing both low- and moderate-risk sports this fall. The state considers golf to be a low-risk sport for spreading the coronavirus so it is one of only a few sports in which the Western Athletic Conference — Berne-Knox-Westerlo’s league — and the Colonial Council — Voorheesville’s league — will participate. Other fall sports are being postponed till March.
